GXN WEB / INTERVENTION

GXN://Analytics

A GA4 event is useful only when it represents a real business action.

A “conversion” label in a report does not prove that the right event fires once, at the right moment.

01

Define the action before the event

Write down what constitutes a qualified request, booking, or purchase. Distinguish form start, validation, and actual confirmation.

02

Test in the browser and GA4

Use GTM preview, DebugView, and application logs. Check errors, blockers, consent, and duplicate firing.

03

Reconcile with an operating source

Compare events with emails, CRM entries, appointments, or transactions. Differences may be legitimate, but they should be understood.

04

Document the convention

Keep the name, condition, parameters, source, and owner for each event. Undocumented measurement decays quickly.

Keep in mind

This guide provides a general starting point. A diagnosis must account for the actual site, access, data, and constraints before any change.

NEXT ACTION

Describe the problem. The right engagement starts there.

GXN will assess the situation, urgency, and desired outcome before recommending an intervention.
